Additional revisions or additions may be required <br /> by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2006 <br /> International Building Code,) (2006 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of <br /> Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the City of <br /> Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. Provide drawings for the house, deck, and stair. Show proposed siding on house. <br /> 2. Provide sections and/or details for deck construction including decking & guard <br /> construction, flashing, etc. <br /> 3. Provide gravity calculations for deck construction including footing connections. <br /> 4. Provide lateral analysis for wind and seismic loading for the proposed deck structures. <br /> 5. Provide stair details including handrail size and placement, and guard construction. Per <br /> R311.7 and R312 IRC. <br /> 6. Converting a garage into a living space is a change of use and requires compliance with <br /> current codes.
