P.
15 Ponce De Leon Terrace SW
Tacoma, WA 98499
Project: Tenant Improvement for Thrift Shop: Always Something
Job Address: 716 B SE Everett Mall Way
Plan Review No: BW1209-001
Dear Mr. Jankelson,
During a site visit on September 12th, and review of previously submitted permit drawings, it is
apparent that new work has been done without permits:
1. Mezzanine
a. Alteration of lateral bracing for the mezzanine floor area from engineered plans on
permit B0104-041.
b. Additional mezzanine floor area.
c. Second set of stairs and modification to first set of stairs shown on permit B0104-041.
d. A residential shower, washer, and dryer.
e. Floor elevations.
f. New walls and wall modifications.
2. First Floor
a. Loading dock door.
b. New walls, new exit door, wall and ceiling modifications.
c. A second toilet room.
3. Exterior
a. Loading dock entry.
b. Exterior tenant signage.
The new work does not meet minimum code standards. The altered structure is unlawful, per the
International Property Maintenance Code, section 108.1.4.
A stop work order has been posted and an unlawful structure placard has been attached to the building
at the entry to this tenant space. This matter has been referred to the Everett Code Enforcement.
Division for compliance.
The plans submitted for the Always Something' tenant improvement building permit are incomplete,
and a permit corrections letter will be sent to the tenant.
Me§ Haley,
Plans Exbrn
