- ORDINANCE NO. 'i` - , AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the Easterly 15.0 feet of Olive Street from Grandview Avenue South to North of Mukilteo Boulevard. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by Resolution No. 1802 duly adopted and fix the 25th day of June, 1980, at 8:30 a.m., for the public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearings and determination of said Resolutions has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described street were heard and discussed; and WHEREAS, City Council finds, as a result of said public hearing, that the street vacation provides a public benefit and that the public interest is served thereby; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the portion of said street resolved to be vacated should be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That portion of Olive Street described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 8, Terrace Addition to Everett, as per plat recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, page 60, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence northwesterly, along the north line of said Lot 1, an arc distance of 35.0 feet to the True Poin,of Beginning and a point on a curve from which the radius center bears N 37 59'00" E, 130.0 feet; thence northwesterly, along the arc of a curve, through a central angle of 1°27'14" an arc distance of 3.30 feet to a point of curvature, the radius center of which bears S 39°26'14" W, 32.0 feet; thence southwesterly, along the arc of a curve, through a central angle of 129°26'14" an arc distance of 72.29 feet; thence Due SOUTH 126.53 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as Point "A"; thence continue Due SOUTH 72.88 feet to a point lying 50 feet northerly of, as measured perpendicular to, the centerline of Mukilteo Blvd.; thence N 81°29'00" E, parallel with said centerline, 9.96 feet a point of curvature, the radius center of which bears N 8°31'00" W, 437.79 feet; thence northeasterly, along the arc of a curve, through a central angle of 0°40'57" an arc distance of 5.21 feet to a point on the easterly right-of-way margin of Olive St.; thence Due NORTH, along said right-of-way margin, 200.32 feet to a point of curvature, the radius center of which bears Due EAST 24.70 feet; thence northeasterly, along the arc of a curve, through a central angle of 127°59'00" an arc distance of 55.17 feet to the True Point of Beginning. -1-
