• <br /> Section 4: If any of the above projects is started but not completed , <br /> completion of the project(s) will be automatically funded <br /> with any 1980 Block Grant funds received by the neighborhood where <br /> an uncompleted project is located. <br /> Section 5: All of the above projects shall conform to the requirements <br /> of the City Ordinance 555-78. Determination of the <br /> appropriate standards to impose shall be made by the City Engineer. <br /> Section 6: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein <br /> authorized is $424,000 which will include all costs <br /> related to design, construction, contract administration, plan develop- <br /> ment and associated costs. <br /> Section 7: <br /> A. The Park Director of the City of Everett under adminis- <br /> tration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of <br /> providing for the design and construction of repairs at <br /> Wiggums Hollow Park, one tennis court, unbreakable covers <br /> for lights, more lighting and an unenclosed shelter with <br /> electrical outlets in Lowell Park and the mini-park <br /> at the High/Grand/Norton intersection. <br /> B. The Traffic Engineer of the City of Everett under admin- <br /> istration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility <br /> of reflective caution signs painted at 35th and Hoyt and <br /> installation of 5 new street lights and poles on Nassau <br /> and Federal. <br /> C. The City Engineer of the City of Everett under administratio <br /> of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providin• <br /> for the other neighborhood improvements to the public <br /> rights-of-way as defined herein. <br /> Section 8: The City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby <br /> authorized to negotiate a reasonable rate of interest <br /> and issue interest bearing warrants to satisfy interim construction <br /> costs not to exceed $424,000. These interest bearing warrants shall <br /> be redeemed by the Treasurer as soon as reimbursement or long term <br /> bond financing monies, as described elsewhere in this Ordinance, are <br /> received. <br /> Section 9: <br /> A. The sum of $424,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund <br /> No. 333, "1979 Block Grant Neighborhood Improvements", <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Program 739, Riverside Neighborhood Improvements $50,.000 <br /> 2. Program 740, Port Gardner Neighborhood 80,900 <br /> Street and Sidewalk Improvements <br /> 3. Program 741, Port Gardner Neighborhood 4,100 <br /> Traffic Improvements <br /> 4. Program 742, Port Gardner Mini-Park 15,000 <br /> 5. Program 743, Northeast Everett Street and 140,000 <br /> Sidewalk Improvement <br /> -5- <br />
