• • ORDINANCE NO. C9c?9- 7 9 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of (1) State Street, North of 18th Street, (2) 17th Street, East of alley East of Chestnut, and (3) Alley parallel and North of 17th Street and East of State Street. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by Resolution No. 1661 duly adopted and fix the 18th day of July, 1979, at 7:00 p.m., for the public hearing ; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearings and determination of said Resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described street were heard and discussed; and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett that the portion of said street resolved to be vacated should be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: All those portions of: 17th STREET between the limits of the Southerly projected East line of the North-South alley within Block 325, Riverdale Addition, and the Southerly projected East line of Lot 20, Block 324, Riverdale Addition. STATE STREET between the limits of the North right-of-way line of 18th Street to a line between the Northeast corner of Lot 26, Block 325, Riverdale Addition and the Northwest corner of Lot 25, Block 324, Riverdale Addition. ALLEY East-West alley within Block 324, Riverdale Addition lying between the East right-of-way line of State Street and the Southerly projected East line of Lot 9 of said Block 324. be and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the following conditions: Section 2: The City of Everett, its successors or assigns shall not be responsible or liable for storm drainage runoff resulting from existing drainage patterns as established on City rights-of-way that may now or in the future go over, under, or across the above described street vacation.
