Required Yards, Designation and Measurement of. <br /> 1. Except as specifically provided in subsection (€D)(2) of this section or as provided in an approved <br /> formal plat or short plat, each lot must contain only one front setback and only one rear setback. Any <br /> other setback will be considered a side setback. <br /> 2. The planning director is authorized to designate front, rear and side setbacks in accordance with the <br /> definitions of Chapter 19.04. If these definitions do not establish a front and rear setback,the planning <br /> director shall establish the setbacks based upon orientation of the lot to surrounding lots and to any <br /> existing development pattern.
