Section 73. Section 2 of Ordinance 534-78, as amended (Environment, Noise Control, EMC 20.08.020.C),
<br /> is amended to read as follows:
<br /> 20.08.020 Definitions
<br /> C. "District" means the land use zones to which the provisions of this chapter are applied. For the
<br /> purposes of this chapter the following noise control districts shall be established which include land use
<br /> zones designated in the Everett zoning code as follows:
<br /> Noise Control District Land Use Zones
<br /> 1. District I All residentially zoned districts including but not
<br /> limited to R.S., R-1, R-1A, R-2, R-2A, R-3, R-3L, R-4 and R-
<br /> 5, and UR.
<br /> 2. District II All business and commercially zoned districts including
<br /> but not limited to B-1, B-2,43 3UM, BMU, El, E-1MUO,
<br /> C-1, C-1R, C-2 and C 2ESULI.
<br /> 3. District III All agricultural and manufacturing zoned districts
<br /> including but not limited to A, M-M, M-1, M-S, W-C and
<br /> all other nonresidential, nonbusiness and
<br /> noncommercially zoned districts.
<br /> Section 74. Section 2 of Ordinance 2180-96, as amended (Traffic Code, Parking, EMC 46.28.020.G-H), is
<br /> amended to read as follows:
<br /> 46.28.020 Definitions.
<br /> G. "Central business district" means the -3UM zone in the city as defined by the Everett zoning code,
<br /> Title 19.
<br /> H. "Central business district repark emphasis area" means any portion of the central business district
<br /> designated as"Parking Area A" in the Everett Zoning Code, Chapter 34 and that has either ninety-
<br /> minute or less time-limited parking, or metered parking. Block faces that have unrestricted parking,
<br /> permit parking or time limits longer than ninety minutes are not included in the repark emphasis
<br /> area. A"block face" is the street frontage of one city block, from intersection to intersection, on one
<br /> side of the street.
<br /> Section 75. Section 2 of Ordinance 1934-93, as amended (Traffic Code, Skateboarding in Central
<br /> Business District, EMC 46.72.010), is amended to read as follows:
<br /> 46.72.010 Riding skateboard or similar device in central business district—Prohibited.
<br /> A. It is unlawful for any person to be upon roller skates or in-line skates, or to ride in or upon or by any
<br /> means a skateboard, coaster, toy vehicle or any device similar to the foregoing upon a public
<br /> sidewalk or roadway in the central business district.
<br /> B. "Central business district" as used in this chapter, means the area designated by the Everett zoning
<br /> code (Title 19), as now or hereafter amended, as Zone B 3UM and designated as "Parking Area A" in
<br /> the Everett Zoning Code, Chapter 34.
<br /> Section 76.Severability.
<br /> Should any section, paragraph, clause or phrase of this Ordinance, or its application to any person or
<br /> circumstance, be declared unconstitutional or otherwise invalid for any reason, or should any portion of
<br /> EMC Titles 2,3,8,13, 16, 18, 19,20 and 46 Consistency Amendments(Metro Everett) Page 52 of 53 8/29/18
