September 5, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., September 5, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council Vice President Bader presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, McNeal, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Member Roberts was excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 29, 2018, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Member Tuohy abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin wished Everett public schools students a happy first day of <br /> school. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members echoed Mayor Franklin's comments and reminded the <br /> public about student safety. <br /> Council Member Tuohy reminded the public that summer is over and the <br /> neighborhoods meetings are returning to regular scheduling. <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on the events of this evening's Council <br /> Budget Subcommittee meeting. He announced a Revenue and Expense <br /> Workshop is scheduled for September 19 in council chambers, and <br /> encouraged citizens to attend and provide input. <br /> Vice President Bader reminded the public that the Everett Aquasox' are in <br /> a playoff game tonight. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, had no comments. <br /> 285 <br />
