Provided, however, that if it is not feasible to retain <br /> 3 utility easements within the area to be vacated, Everett General Hospital shall <br /> 4 relocate, at its expense, the affected utilities to alternate easements or right of way as <br /> 5 approved by the City Public Works Department. <br /> 6 Section 3: The vacation of Wetmore Avenue between Thirteenth Street (13th <br /> 7 Street) and Fourteenth Street (14th Street) shall not become effective until Everett <br /> 8 General Hospital, as abutting property owner, shall compensate the City in an amount <br /> 9 equal to percent of the current appraised value of the area described <br /> 10 herein. Furthermore, the area described herein to be vacated shall remain open as a <br /> 11 City street until, in addition to payment of compensation, Everett General Hospital as <br /> 12 abutting owner shall certify to the City that its construction project is to commence <br /> 13 within six (6) months and it has need of the vacated street for furtherance of that <br /> 14 construction project.
