If any one or more of the provisions, sections, covenants or agreements <br /> 3 provided in this ordinance to be performed by the City shall be declared by any court of <br /> 4 competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision, section, covenant or <br /> 5 agreement shall be null and void and shall be deemed separable from the remaining <br /> 6 provisions, sections, covenants or agreements in this ordinance and shall in no way <br /> 7 affect the validity of the other provisions of this ordinance. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Section 18: General Duty. <br /> 10 A. Nothing in this ordinance is intended to create a cause of action or claim <br /> 11 against the City or its officials or employees running to specific individuals. Any duty <br /> 12 herein created is intended to be a general duty running in favor of the public citizenry. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Section 19: Repealing. <br /> 15 A.
