When, under the provisions of Section 13, an Everett <br /> 2 Emergency Aid Car transports a person or persons, the licensed ambulance <br /> 3 company serving the same geographical area shall be reimbursed by the <br /> 4 City of Everett as if the licensed ambulance company had transported the <br /> 5 person or persons. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Section 15: Training. <br /> 8 A. All training of persons, in the City of Everett, for emergency medical <br /> 9 care, except as provided in accredited medical programs, shall be reviewed by the <br /> 10 Emergency Services Advisory Committee. Certification of instructors for emergency <br /> 11 medical care shall be done in the manner and method as determined by the EMS Service <br /> 12 of the State of Washington for Basic First Aid, Advanced First Aid, EMT and EMTA <br /> 13 Training. <br /> 14 B. All persons who intend to teach, instruct or otherwise train persons in <br /> 15 emergency medical care and who are working for the City of Everett shall be approved <br /> 16 by the Medical Director. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Section 16: Penalties. <br /> 19 A. Any person violating or failing to comply with any provision of this <br /> 20 ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a Class B offense. The fine may not exceed $200 or <br /> 21 imprisonment in the County jail for a term exceeding 10 days or both such fine and <br /> 22 imprisonment. <br /> 23 B. Each day that any violation of, or failure to comply with, this ordinance is <br /> 24 committed or permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate and distinct offense <br /> 25 under this section and shall be punishable as such hereunder; provided, however, that the <br /> 26 Court may, in appropriate cases, stay the cumulation of penalties. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -12- <br />
