That Section 15.201 (a) of the Uniform Fire Code be, and is hereby <br /> 6 <br /> amended by deleting: <br /> 7 <br /> The storage of Class I flammable liquids in above-ground tanks outside of <br /> 8 buildings is prohibited within the limits established by law as the limits of <br /> the districts in which such storage is to be prohibited. <br /> 9 <br /> and inserting in its place: <br /> 10 <br /> The storage of Class I flammable liquids in above-ground tanks outside of <br /> 11 buildings is prohibited within Fire Zone No. 1 and 2. <br /> 12 Section 33. That Section 20.2, Part I, Administration, of the Uniform Plumbing <br /> 13 Code be, and is hereby amended by deleting: <br /> 14 Section 20.2 - Duties and Powers of the Administrative Authority <br /> 15 (a) The Building Official may appoint such assistants, deputies, <br /> inspectors or other employees as are authorized to carry out the <br /> 16 functions of the department and this Code. <br /> 17 Right of Entry <br /> 18 (b) Whenever necessary to make an inspection to enforce any of the <br /> provisions of this Code, or whenever the Administrative Authority <br /> 19 or his authorized representative has reasonable cause to believe <br /> that there exists in any building or upon any premises, any <br /> 20 condition which makes such building or premises unsafe as defined <br /> in this Code, the Administrative Authority or his authorized <br /> 21 representative may enter such building or premises at all <br /> reasonable times to inspect the same or to perform any duty <br /> 22 imposed upon the Administrative Authority by this Code; provided <br /> that if such building or premises be occupied, he shall first present <br /> 23 proper credentials and demand entry; and if such building or <br /> premises be unoccupied, he shall first make a reasonable effort to <br /> 24 locate the owner or other persons having charge or control of the <br /> building or premises and demand entry. If such entry is refused, <br /> 25 the Administrative Authority or his authorized representative shall <br /> have recourse to every remedy provided by law to secure entry. <br /> 26 <br /> "Authorized Representative" shall include the persons named in Section <br /> 27 202.2 (a) of this Code. <br /> 28 (c) No owner or occupant or any other person having charge, care of <br /> control of any building or premises shall fail or neglect, after <br /> 29 proper demand is made as herein provided, to properly permit entry <br /> therein by the Administrative Authority or his authorized repre- <br /> 30 sentative for the purpose of inspection and examination pursuant to <br /> this Code.
