That Section 338-3(b) of the National Electrical Code, as herein <br /> 2 adopted be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 3 "Grounded Conductor Not Insulated. Type SE service-entrance cables <br /> without individual insulation on the grounded circuit conductor shall not <br /> 4 be used as a branch circuit or as a feeder within a building." <br /> 5 "Service-entrance cable shall be permitted for interior use, not over 70 <br /> Amps, where the fully insulated conductors are used for circuit wiring and <br /> 6 the uninsulated conductor is used for equipment grounding purposes." <br /> 7 Section 47. That Section WAC 296-46-150 of the Department of Labor and <br /> 8 Industries Rules and Regulations for installing electric wires and equipment and <br /> 9 Administrative Rules as herein adopted be and is hereby amended by adding a new <br /> 10 Subsection (4): <br /> 11 "Regardless of any other provisions in this Chapter, all buildings except <br /> for residential occupancy, shall be wired in only approved metallic <br /> 12 raceways." <br /> 13 Section 48. That Section WAC 296-46-180 of the Department of Labor and <br /> 14 Industries Rules and Regulations for installing electric wires and equipment and <br /> 15 Administrative Rules as herein adopted be and is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 16 a. "Service Equipment Location. Except as otherwise permitted by <br /> the Building Official, all service equipment, including switches, <br /> 17 gutters and subfeed switches, shall be located not more than seven <br /> (7) feet, nor less than three (3) feet from the floor or permanent <br /> 18 working platforms." <br /> 19 b. "Meter Location. Except as otherwise permitted by the serving <br /> utility, meter height shall not be more than seven (7) feet or less <br /> 20 than five (5) feet above finished grade or floor below the meter. <br /> The center of the meter shall be the point of reference." <br /> 21 <br /> Section 49.
