.- a • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • • <br /> • <br /> 1 The following shall be the longevity schedule, based upon years of service, the amount <br /> of which shall be added to and considered a part of, base pay: <br /> 2 <br /> After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month <br /> 3 After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month <br /> After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month <br /> 4 After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month <br /> 5 The following shall be the educaitonal incentive plan schedule, based upon receipt of <br /> approved college credits. There shall be a joint Everett Police Officers association <br /> 6 and city Administration Committee established which shall determine the appropriat- <br /> eness of areas of study for which the incentive pay may be granted. Such pay may <br /> 7 not be received during the initial nine month probation period. <br /> 8 After completion of 45 credits, $ 25.00 per month. <br /> After completion of 90 credits, $ 50.00 per month. <br /> 9 After completion of 135 credits, $ 75.00 per month. <br /> After receiving a B.S. or B.A. degree, $100.00 per month. <br /> 10 <br /> Section 9: <br /> 11 <br /> Bus Operators, who are requested by their supervisors to act as Bus Operator trainers, <br /> 12 shall be paid 41.00 per hour premium pay in addition to their regular hourly rate. <br /> 13 <br /> Section 10: <br /> 14 Employees receiving promotions will advance to the step in the higher classification <br /> 15 pay range which is higher than the step they were at in the range of the lower <br /> classification. Upon promotion, the employee's current appointment date for future <br /> 16 step pay increases will become the date upon which the.promotion became effective. <br /> 17 Section 11: <br /> 18 Upon demotion, an employee shall be paid either at the step in the lower pay range <br /> 19 which is the amount equal to the step he had been at in the higher classification or at <br /> the highest step of the lower classification if all of the steps of the lower range are <br /> 20 below the step the employee has been at in the higher classification. <br /> 21 Section 12: <br /> 22 All persons, other than those in the pay range prefaced "H", who are paid on an hourly <br /> 23 basis as hereinafter or herein set forth shall be considered and be Day Laborers as <br /> defined by the City Charter governing Civil Service. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Section 13: <br /> Pursuant to the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, and as may be <br /> 26 be amended, hereinafter refereed to as "CETA", the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br /> 27 hire such employees in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Employment <br /> and training Act and such agreements as the Mayor, pursuant to his/her prior <br /> 28 authorization to contract for employees under the Comprehensive Employment and <br /> Training Act may enter. <br /> 29 All CETA employees shall be paid in accordance with the above salary schedule and <br /> their job title shall be prefaced by the symbol CETA. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
