• <br /> 1 Section 4: Fee <br /> 2 A fee of Two Hundred Dollars ($200) shall be paid to the City of Everett upon <br /> 3 filing of each application for a permit to operate a circus, carnival, amusement center <br /> 4 or go-cart center for a period in excess of five (5) days. A fee of Forty Dollars ($40) <br /> 5 per day shall be paid to the City of Everett through the City Clerk's Office upon the <br /> 6 filing of each application for a permit to operate a circus, carnival, amusement center <br /> 7 or go-cart center for a period of not exceeding five (5) days. <br /> 8 Section 5: Renewal of Permit <br /> 9 A permit may be renewed within sixty (60) days prior to its date of expiration, <br /> 10 provided there continues to be use in reliance on said permit, by making application for <br /> 11 renewal in the same manner as for the original permit by paying a renewal fee of Fifty <br /> 12 Dollars ($50). The City Clerk shall make the determinations and issue or refuse to issue <br /> 13 the renewed permit pursuant to the requirements of this section and pursuant to the <br /> 14 provisions of this chapter related to the issuance of the original permit. <br /> 15 Section 6: Insurance <br /> 16 Every operator of such circus, carnival, amusement center or go-cart center <br /> 17 shall obtain and maintain in full force and effect public liability insurance in the sum of <br /> 18 Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) for death or injury to one person and <br /> 19 Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) for the death or injury to more than one <br /> 20 person in the same accident or occurrence. Said operator will file with the City Clerk a <br /> 21 certificate of insurance in the amounts herein indicated showing the City of Everett as <br /> 22 a named insured on such policy. <br /> 23 Section 7: Denial, Suspension and Revocation of Permit <br /> 24 A. The City Clerk shall deny any application for a permit when the applicant <br /> 25 has not complied with the applicable requirements of this ordinance or chapter. The <br /> 26 City Clerk may suspend or revoke the permit of any person issued a permit hereunder <br /> 27 whenever the permitee shall have engaged in any unlawful business or act or the <br /> 28 insurance required by this chapter or ordinance has lapsed or been cancelled. <br /> 29 B. If after investigation the City Clerk determines that a permit should be <br /> 30 suspended or revoked or an application for such permit denied, the City Clerk shall <br /> 31 prepare a notice of suspension or revocation or denial of application setting forth the <br /> 32 <br />
