• <br /> • <br /> , • ' A� <br /> Sect. 030 Certificate of Exemption <br /> Certificates of Exemption shall not be required for those <br /> exemptions listed in Section 020 although anyone considering <br /> himself exempted thereunder may apply for a Certificate of <br /> Exemption and it shall be issued without conditions if there is, <br /> in fact, an exemption under the section. <br /> Sect. 040 Application for Approval <br /> The short subdivision application shall be submitted to the <br /> City Engineer for review and approval. <br /> Sect. 050 Authority for Granting Approval of Short Subdivisions and <br /> Dedications <br /> Final approval of a short subdivision shall be granted by the <br /> City Engineer by placing his signature on the face of the short <br /> plat. <br /> No lot included in the short subdivision shall be sold or <br /> offered for sale until the approved plat is filed for record with <br /> the County Auditor. <br /> Sect. 060 Proposed Plat <br /> The proposed plat shall be prepared by a registered land <br /> surveyor and shall be in the standardized form approved by the <br /> City Engineer. Unless special approval has been granted by the <br /> City Engineer, the proposed plat shall be on tracing cloth or <br /> mylar, shall have a trimmed size of 8-1/2 inches by 14 inches <br /> and shall show the following features and information: <br /> (a) The boundary lines accurate and to scale of the tract or <br /> tracts to be subdivided. <br /> (b) The boundary lines accurate and to scale of the lots or <br /> tracts which will form the approved short subdivision. <br /> (c) The designation by letters, or numerals of the lots or <br /> tracts existing prior to the short subdivision and the <br /> designation by letters or numerals of the lots or tracts <br /> which will form the approved short subdivision. <br /> (d) The length and bearing of all straight lines, curves, <br /> radii arcs and semitangents of all curves. <br /> (e) The date, true north point and scale. <br /> (f) Sufficient courses, angles, distances and/or ties to <br /> adjacent control points to facilitate orientation to <br /> adjacent properties. <br /> Sect. 070 Sketch of Vicinity <br /> A vicinity sketch at a scale between four hundred and sixteen <br /> hundred feet to the inch shall accompany the proposed plat. <br /> Sect. 080 Horizontal and Vertical Scale <br /> The proposed short subdivision shall be shown on a single <br /> drawing and preferred scales shall be one inch to one hundred <br /> feet, one inch to fifty feet, and one inch to forty feet. <br /> Vertical scales for profile drawings shall be one inch to <br /> ten feet. <br /> -2- <br />
