• • <br /> • <br /> 1 (6) "Design Storm" shall refer to that rainfall event as stipulated in <br /> 2 the Comprehensive Drainage Plan which when used for purposes of design, <br /> 3 will specify both the return period in years and the duration in hours (as <br /> 4 in 10 year, 6 hour storm) . <br /> 5 (7) "Detention Facilities" shall mean facilities designed to hold <br /> 6 runoff while gradually releasing it at a predetermined maximum rate. <br /> 7 (8) "Developer" shall mean the owning individual(s) or corporation(s) <br /> 8 or their representative applying for the permits or approvals described in <br /> 9 Section 3(1) of this Chapter. <br /> 10 (9) "Developmental Coverage" shall mean all developed impervious <br /> 11 surface areas within the subject property including, but not limited to, <br /> 12 rooftops, driveways, carports, accessory buildings, and parking areas. <br /> 13 During construction "developmental coverage" shall include the above <br /> 14 in addition to the full extent of any alteration of previously occurring soils, <br /> 15 slope or vegetation due to grading, temporary storage, access areas, or any <br /> 16 other short-term causes. <br /> 17 (10) "Drainage area" shall mean the watershed contributing water runoff <br /> 18 to and including the subject property. <br /> 19 (11) "Drainage plan" shall mean a plan for collection, transport, <br /> 20 treatment, and discharge or recycle of water within the subject property. <br /> 21 (12) "Drainage treatment/abatement facilities" shall mean any facilities <br /> 22 installed or constructed in conjunction with a drainage plan for the purpose <br /> 23 of treatment or abatement of urban storm water runoff, excluding retention or <br /> 24 detention facilities. <br /> 25 (13) "City Engineer" shall mean the City Engineer and/or his -designee. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> 3 <br />
