ORDINANCE NO. 419f- 7f <br /> An Ordinance Repealing Ordinance 413-76 and Amending <br /> Medium Manufacturing M-M Zone Classification <br /> Codified as 19 . 33 and amending Ordinance 3572 . <br /> WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Everett <br /> held a public hearing on December 7 , 1977 , and recommended to the <br /> City Council that sections of the Medium Manufacturing Zone <br /> Ordinance 413-76 , codified as Section 19 . 33 be amended to clarify <br /> the intent of the ordinance, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett approved <br /> said recommendations, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Everett Municipal Code Section 19 . 33 Medium <br /> Manufacturing shall read as follows : <br /> A. DECLARATION OF PURPOSE <br /> The purpose of the MM Zone is to protect 'certain areas of the <br /> City for land intensive manufacturing. The prupose of this <br /> zone is to assure an adequate amount of land to accommodate <br /> the needs of industry and its commercial support activities, <br /> while protecting adjacent areas from potentially adverse impact- . <br /> B. PER'lITTED USES <br /> The following uses shall be permitted unconditionally in the <br /> MM Zone along with other uses as determined by the Building <br /> Official. <br /> 1 . Manufacturing: Bakery; fabric; printing; drugs and pharma- <br /> ceuticals; leather goods; metal fabrication; electronic <br /> office, measurement, and controlling instruments; optical <br /> equipment; lighting and wiring equipment; electronic <br /> receiving equipment; watches , clocks , and timing instruments; <br /> medical instruments; jewelry; and plastics . <br /> 2 . Warehouse, storage, and distribution; All warehousing; <br /> vehicle storage; wholesale trade, except petroleum and <br /> live animals; contractor storage. <br /> 3 . Parts or equipment assembly: Assembly of products listed <br /> under manufacturing. <br /> 4 . Commercial Uses : Office buildings , commercial parking, <br /> restaurants , equipment repair, business services , credit <br /> unions , branch banks . <br /> C. MINIMUM LOT SIZE AND WIDTH <br /> No lot size or width required for non-residential permitted <br /> uses . <br /> D. GROSS FLOOR AREA RATIO <br /> No gross floor area ratio required for non-residential permitted <br /> uses . <br />
