Section 2. Authorization is given to provide for the demolition of the Haskell Building and the remodel of the exist- ing city hall in Block 717 , Plat of Everett, Lots 24 to 32 inclusive, records of Snohomish County, Washington, commonly known as 3002 Wetmore Avenue. Section 3. Authorization is given to contract with the Everett School District #2 for the leasing of Roosevelt Elementary School for a temporary city hall during the remodeling construction at the existing city hall. Section 4 . Authorization is given to provide for necessary im- provements at the Roosevelt School for a temporary city hall. Section 5. Authorization is given to repair or reconstruct the adjacent sidewalks and alley as necessary to provide access to the new construction. Section 6. Authorization is given to provide new equipment and furnishings as required by the new construction. Section 7. The total estimated cost of the improvements author- ized herein is $2, 000, 000 which includes all costs of the design, construction, moving and associated costs. Section 8. The city projects coordinator under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the design and construction of the improvements as defined herein. Section 9. The city treasurer of the city of Everett is hereby authorized to issue construction warrants as funds are required, but not to exceed $2 , 000, 000 to a local bank for interim construction financing at a reasonable rate of interest. Section 10. The sum of $2, 000, 000 be appropriated for the purpose herein specified in the following manner: a. Fund No. 308 - City Hall Remodel Construction 1.
