Section 2. Authorization is given to provide for the demolition <br /> of the Haskell Building and the remodel of the exist- <br /> ing city hall in Block 717 , Plat of Everett, Lots <br /> 24 to 32 inclusive, records of Snohomish County, <br /> Washington, commonly known as 3002 Wetmore Avenue. <br /> Section 3. Authorization is given to contract with the Everett <br /> School District #2 for the leasing of Roosevelt <br /> Elementary School for a temporary city hall during <br /> the remodeling construction at the existing city hall. <br /> Section 4 . Authorization is given to provide for necessary im- <br /> provements at the Roosevelt School for a temporary <br /> city hall. <br /> Section 5. Authorization is given to repair or reconstruct the <br /> adjacent sidewalks and alley as necessary to provide <br /> access to the new construction. <br /> Section 6. Authorization is given to provide new equipment and <br /> furnishings as required by the new construction. <br /> Section 7. The total estimated cost of the improvements author- <br /> ized herein is $2, 000, 000 which includes all costs <br /> of the design, construction, moving and associated <br /> costs. <br /> Section 8. The city projects coordinator under the administration <br /> of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of <br /> providing for the design and construction of the <br /> improvements as defined herein. <br /> Section 9. The city treasurer of the city of Everett is hereby <br /> authorized to issue construction warrants as funds <br /> are required, but not to exceed $2 , 000, 000 to a local <br /> bank for interim construction financing at a reasonable <br /> rate of interest. <br /> Section 10. The sum of $2, 000, 000 be appropriated for the purpose <br /> herein specified in the following manner: <br /> a. Fund No. 308 - City Hall Remodel Construction <br /> 1. Program 623 - City Hall Remodel $2 , 000, 000 <br /> b. Source of Funds <br /> U.S. Department of Commerce, <br /> Economic Development Administration $2, 000, 000 <br />
