• <br /> Section GO Definitions of Terms <br /> The following definitions are applicable in Sections 61 <br /> •-fhrough 64 unless the context otherwise requires: <br /> -(1) "Credit card" means any instrument or device, whether <br /> -incomplete, revoked or expired, whether known as a <br /> .credit card , credit plat, charge plate, courtesy card, <br /> ,,cr by any other name, issued with or without fee for <br /> -the use of the cardholder in obtaining money , goods, <br /> • <br /> ervices or anything else of value, including satisfaction <br /> ref v. debt or the payment of a check drawn by a cardholder, <br /> • --either on c '•edit or in consideration of an undertaking or <br /> =guaranty by the issuer. <br /> :(2) "Deception" occurs when an actor knowingly: <br /> :-(a) creates or confirms another's false impression <br /> - 'hich the actor does not believe to be true; or <br /> • •-(b) fails to correct another's false impression which <br /> the actor previously has created or confirmed; or <br /> <c) prevents another from acquiring information • <br /> • <br /> ,material to the disposition of the property involved; or <br /> • --_(d) transfers or encumbers property without disclosing <br /> a lien, adverse claim, or other legal impediment to <br /> the enjoyment of the property, whether that imp cdi- <br /> merit is or is not valid ,•or is or is not a matter of <br /> official record; or <br />
