Section 7. FILING OF ORDINANCE. Incident to the adoption of the <br /> MTO by reference, by this ordinance, copies of the text of the <br /> adopted MTO and of other adopted statutes shall be filed as required <br /> by RCW 35.21.180 for use and examination by the public. <br /> Section 8. REPEAL. Ordinance No. 123-71, 128-71, 141-71, 155-71, <br /> 159-71, 170-71, 196.72, 210-72, 262-73, 294-74, 364-75, 393-76, <br /> 434-77, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- <br /> with are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 9. EXISTING ORDINANCES NOT REPEALED. Ordinance No. 366-75, <br /> "Alley Service Parking Permits", is not repealed and shall remain in <br /> full force and effect. <br /> Section 10. EFFECT ON EXISTING RIGHTS. The repeal by <br /> this code of any existing ordinance shall not revive any former <br /> ordinances heretofore repealed, nor affect any right existing or <br /> accrued, or any action or proceeding already taken, except as in <br /> this code provided. <br /> Section 11. EXISTING PERMITS TO REMAIN IN FORCE. Except <br /> as otherwise provided herein, all permits lawfully issued under <br /> the provisions of any ordinance repealed by this code shall remain <br /> in force and effect until the expiration thereof, unless sooner <br /> surrendered or revoked; subject, however, to all other provisions <br /> of this code. <br /> Section 12. FALSE REPRESENTATION PROHIBITED. It is <br /> unlawful and a violation of this code to make a false statement <br /> or representation in any application, statement or report required <br /> by this code to be made. <br /> Section 13. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this ordinance <br /> or its application to any person or curcumstance is held invalid, <br /> the remainder of the ordinance, or the application of the provision <br /> to other persons or circumstances is not affected. <br /> Section 14. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect from <br /> and after the "73nwday of ,,ji <br /> 97 .7 • <br /> Section 15. GENERAL PENALTIES. <br /> A. Any person who shall violate or fail to comply with any of <br /> the provisions of the MTO, or who shall counsel, aid or abet any such <br /> violations or failure to comply, except violations for which penalties <br /> are specifically provided, shall be deemed guilty of a traffic offense, <br /> and upon a finding of guilty, where no other penalty or punishment is <br /> provided, shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding $500.00. <br /> B. Provided, however, that any person who shall violate or fail <br /> to comply with provisions of: <br /> 1. RCW 46.20.420, Driving on a Suspended License. <br /> 2. RCW 46.52.010, Duty on Striking Unattended Car or <br /> Other Property. <br /> 3. RCW 46.52.020, Duty in Case of Injury to or Death of <br /> Person or Damage to Attended Vehicle. <br /> 4. RCW 46.61.500, Reckless Driving. <br />
