To comply with state requirements, the city requires the upgrade of the single check-valve to a double check detector assembly when the commercial building sprinkler system is modified through the city permit process. Please be advised that the city requires this upgrade as a part of buiiding or sprinkler permit application for the portion of the building served by the current single check valve.
