The enclosed
plans have been revised in accordance with redline comments (which are also enclosed) received from your
office. These revisions include the follawing:
L A handrail has been added along lhe biofiltraGon swale to offer addiUonal protecfion for
pedestrians walking along Ihe existing sidewalk on Evergreen Way.
2. We have provided a detail on Sheet C6 for the handicap ramp located near the southwest
building corner.
3. We have added two signs near the handicap parking sta1L This information is actually
detailed on the Architectural Site Plan SP1. However, appropriate referencing of the signs
is included on the grading and storm drainage plan.
4. A detail has been added to Sheet C6 illustradng the plant material specified within the
proposed biofiltraaon swale.
5. The propc, sed water meter has been revised from a 1h-inch water meter to a 2-inch meter.
6. The concrete retaining wall specified along the east property boundary will be constructed
during ile earlier stages of conswcuon before ihe site has been cleared of all asphalt and
vegetaUon. The scope of work and disturbance of property necessary to install the wall
will be minor in nature. We do not foresee adverse impacts wih respect to erosion or
disturbance to he adjacent property. Once the retaining wall has been constructed, other
portions of ihe site would be exposed and prepared for furthe.r eartlnvork. Consequently,
the concrete retaining wall would provide a barrie between tle adjacent properties and the
on-site construcdon acfivity. Hence, addiuonal erosion control along the east property
boundary would not be necessary.
7. Computations for the sizing of the orifce wilhin Ilie restrictor plate are attached. These
computations were in the original submittal of tle storm drainage report.
18215 72ND AVENUE SOUTH KENT, JJA98032 (206) 251-6222 (206) 251-0782 FAX
