The building code requires that the <br />roof covering be fire-retardant. f]ot knowing what materials <br />were used on the existin9 roof, we are unable to determine <br />whether or not the roofing installation meets this requirement. <br />We have asked the contractor to obtain certification from an <br />approved testin9 laboratory that the roof ineets fire-retardant <br />specifications. He has engaged Cascade Testing Laboratory to� <br />provide this certification.
