Richard <br />Mderson of the Dep:utmer.! .,f Transportation conceming exiting traffic from the site we intend to <br />develop. Specifically, you both have asked that exiting traffic be r�stricted to right hand turns only <br />due to the limited space in which to make a left hand turn safcly. <br />While we and our clients understand your safety concerns we aze concerned about the manner in <br />which such IeR hand turns are prohibited. As you may remember, we have a special requirement to <br />enable the delivery of tires by 18 wheel trucks. As you know, this requires a very large turnin� radius <br />and entry/exit drive. Further, these trucks will only be able to enter the site from the noRheast. Any <br />physical barriers to such left hand exits from the site could significantly impede or e�ien eliminate the <br />possibility for these trucks to deliver supplies for this business. <br />Therefore, we would like to propose that we address the prohibition of left hand exits from the site <br />with a"RIGHT HAND TURN ONLY�� sign at the exit. If this would not be acceptable to your <br />department, please let me know as soon as possible.
