As used in this Notice, and in the contract resulting from this solicitation, the Covered <br /> 9 Area is as designated herein. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications <br /> 12 (Executive Order 11246) <br /> 13 <br /> 14 1. As used in these specifications: <br /> 15 <br /> 16 a. Covered Area means the geographical area described in the solicitation <br /> 17 from which this contract resulted; <br /> 18 <br /> 19 b. Director means Director, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, <br /> 20 United States Department of Labor, or any person to whom the Director 111 <br /> 21 delegates authority; <br /> 22 <br /> 23 c. Employer Identification Number means the Federal Social Security number <br /> 24 used on the Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return, U. S. Treasury <br /> 25 Department Form 941; <br /> 26 <br /> 27 d.
