Disseminate the Contractor's EEO policy externally by including it in any <br /> 3 advertising in the news media, specifically including minority and female <br /> 1 4 news media, and providing written notification to and discussing the <br /> 5 Contractor's EEO policy with other Contractors and Subcontractors with <br /> 6 whom the Contractor does or anticipates doing business. <br /> I 7 <br /> 8 i. Direct its recruitment efforts, both oral and written to minority, female and <br /> 9 community organizations, to schools with minority and female students and <br /> I 10 to minority and female recruitment and training organizations serving the <br /> 11 Contractor's recruitment area and employment needs. Not later than one <br /> 12 month prior to the date for the acceptance of applications for apprenticeship <br /> I 13 or other training by any recruitment source, the Contractor shall send <br /> 14 written notification to organizations such as the above, describing the <br /> 15 openings, screening procedures, and tests to be used in the selection <br /> 16 process. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 j. Encourage present minority and female employees to recruit other minority <br /> 19 persons and women and where reasonable, provide after school, summer <br /> I 20 and vacation employment to minority and female youth both on the site and <br /> 21 in other areas of a Contractor's work force. <br /> 22 <br /> I 23 k. Validate all tests and other selection requirements where there is an <br /> 24 obligation to do so under 41 CFR Part 60-3. <br /> 25 <br /> I 26 I. Conduct, at least annually, an inventory and evaluation of all minority and <br /> 27 female personnel for promotional opportunities and encourage these <br /> 28 employees to seek or to prepare for, through appropriate training, etc., such <br /> I 29 opportunities. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 m. Ensure that seniority practices, job classifications, work assignments and <br /> I 32 other personnel practices, do not have a discriminatory effect by continually <br /> 33 monitoring all personnel and employment related activities to ensure that <br /> 34 the EEO policy and the Contractor's obligations under these specifications <br /> 35 are being carried out. <br /> I 36 <br /> 37 n. Ensure that all facilities and company activities are nonsegregated except <br /> 38 that separate or single-user toilet and necessary changing facilities shall be <br /> I 39 provided to assure privacy between the sexes. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 o. Document and maintain a record of all solicitations of offers for <br /> I 42 subcontracts from minority and female construction contractors and <br /> 43 suppliers, including circulation of solicitations to minority and female <br /> 44 contractor associations and other business associations. <br /> I 45 <br /> 46 p. Conduct a review, at least annually, of all supervisors' adherence to and <br /> 47 performance under the Contractor's EEO policies and affirmative action <br /> I <br /> 48 obligations. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 8. Contractors are encouraged to participate in voluntary associations which assist in <br /> 51 fulfilling one or more of their affirmative action obligations (7a through 7p). The <br /> I <br /> N.
