1 1 <br /> 2 Accessible Pedestrian Station <br /> 3 The pushbutton stations and adapters shall be Forest Green in color. The sign shall <br /> 4 be 9 inch by 15 inch, option G (MUTCD R10-3e), when used in conjunction with a <br /> 5 countdown type pedestrian signal display. The sign shall include a frame adapter <br /> 6 plate. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 A pole adaptor, from the pushbutton station manufacturer, shall be utilized when a <br /> 9 pole adaptor is required. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Each pedestrian signal pushbutton station shall include one pedestrian signal head <br /> 12 control unit, mountable in the associated pedestrian signal display enclosure. For 3- <br /> 13 wire systems, 4-wire cable shall be installed between the button and control unit so ' <br /> 14 that the system is backwards compatible with older models. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 All manufacturer recommended setup equipment, required to program, adjust and <br /> 17 make operational the pedestrian pushbutton stations, shall be furnished with each <br /> 18 complete pushbutton system. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 The pedestrian pushbutton station shall be able to be programmed by laptop <br /> 21 software wireless remote configurator that allows the selection of options and <br /> 22 programmable messages. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 All pedestrian pushbutton station equipment shall be the same make or model from <br /> 25 one manufacturer. Each station shall be latest model, capable of wireless <br /> 26 communication for programming and data collection from a remote location. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 The contractor shall coordinate with the City of Everett Traffic Office through the <br /> 29 Engineer for site specific message following installation.
