Washmgton. 4. Except as herein euthorized, no excavation shal� be made or obstacle placed within the limits of the State highway in such a manner as to interfere with the travel over said ro�d. 5. If the work done under this permit interferes in any waY with the drainage ol •he State highway, the Utility shali wholly and et its own expense make such provision es the Department may d�rect to take cere of said drainage. 6. On completion of said work herein contemplated all ruhbish and de6ris shall be immediately removed and the roadway and roa;iside shail be left neat and presentable and satisfactory to the Department. 7. All of the work herein contemolated shall be done under the supervision ani! to the satisfaction ot the Deparb ment and the entire expense ot said supervision shall be borne by the party or parties to whom this permit is issued. B. The Depertment hereby reserves the right to order the change of location or the removal of any structure or structures authorized by this �armit at any time, said change or removal to be made at the sole expense of the party or parties to whom this permit is issued, or their successors and assigns. 9. All such changes. reconstruction or retocation by the Utility shall be done in such manner as will cause the least interference with any �t the DepartmenYs work and the DepartmeM shall in no wise be held Gable for any damage to the Utility hy reason of any such work by the Department, its agents or representatives, or by the exercise of any rights by the Department upon roads, streets, public places or structures in question. 10. This permit ar privilege shail not be deemed or heid to be an ezclusive one and shall not prohibit the Department trom granting other permits or Iranchise rights of like or other nature to other public or private utilities, nor shall it prevent the Department irom using any of its roads, streets, or public places, or aHect its right to full supervision and control over ell or any part of them, none of which is hereby surrendered. 1 t. The Department mey revoke, amend or cancel this permit or any of the provisions thereof at any �ime by giving written notice to the Utility. The Utility shall immediateiy remo�e alt fecilir�s irom the right of way. Any facilities remaining upon the right of way 30 days after written notice of cancellation shall be removed by the Stele et the expense of the Utility. 12, The party or par�ies to whom Ihis permit is issued chall maintain at its or their sole expense the structure or object for which this permit is pranted in a condition satisfacrory to the Department. 13. The Ulility pledges that per(ormance of routine cuttin9 and trimming work will be eccomplished in such a menner thai ihe roadside eppearence will not be disligured.
