These <br />comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be re�uired by other <br />departments (such as Udlities, Plamm�g or Fire). Ali r�ferences refer to the 1994 Umform <br />Building Code, as amended by the State of Washingtcn and!or Washington State F,nergy Code <br />1995 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processin of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br />to provide the Building �ivis�on w�th two complete new sets of drawings <br />reflecting the corrections requested. <br />A. rENERAL CONIMENTS <br />✓ 1. Group B occupancies over 3,000 square feet shall be equipped with an automadc fire <br />detect�on system (fire alarm system) per City Ordinance 1902-92. <br />✓2. Fire/smoke dampers shall be installed at duct penetrations per Section '713.10. This item <br />applies to al! duct penetrations of Ist and 2nd floor, lobby/corridor areas. Also transfer <br />grills are not allowecl into these areas. <br />✓3. Roof drains shall be connected to the storm sewer. <br />✓ 4. Foam plastic insulation used in a roof covering assembly sha11 cr n�ly with Secdon 2602. <br />V 5. Foam plastic insulation must comply with Secdon 2602. <br />�/6. Skylights shall comply with Chapter 24. Please indicate size, location and framing on <br />structural plans.
