I <br /> 4. New Standby Generator. <br /> B. Execute Certificate of Substantial Completion for each area listed above prior to Owner's <br /> occupancy. <br /> 1. After Owner occupancy, Contractor shall allow: <br /> a. Access for Owner's personnel. <br /> b. Operation of facility process,HVAC,plumbing and electrical systems. <br /> 2. After occupancy, Owner will provide: <br /> a. Contractor access to finish punch list items. <br /> C. Substantial Completion of the entire Work shall be awarded when all subtasks and all other work <br /> required by the Contract Documents is complete and meets the requirements for substantial <br /> completion as indicated in the Specifications. <br /> D. See Section 00 60 13 for contract times associated with partial and entire Work Substantial <br /> Completion. <br /> 1.7 OUTAGES <br /> A. The Contractor shall organize and plan the construction activities so that the number and length <br /> of any required outages shall be minimized. <br /> B. An outage to any customer shall require specific approval of the Owner. The Owner reserves <br /> the right to reject any request for an outage. <br /> C. In some cases it may be necessary, at Contractor's expense,to either install temporary facilities <br /> for service or schedule the Work during a period when the outage would have minimal impact <br /> on the customer. <br /> D. The Contractor shall provide the Owner at least 48 HRS notice in advance of any requested <br /> outage so that the Owner may advise and coordinate the outage with the customers. <br /> 1.8 OWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTS(NOT USED) I <br /> 1.9 CONTRACTOR-FURNISHED PRODUCTS <br /> A. Contractor shall furnish all products, other than Owner-furnished products designated above. ' <br /> B. Components required to be supplied in quantity within a specification section shall all be the <br /> same and shall be interchangeable. <br /> C. Unless otherwise indicated in the Contract Documents,provide materials and equipment that: I <br /> 1. are produced by reputable manufacturers having adequate experience in the manufacture of <br /> these items; and <br /> 2. are designed for the service intended; and <br /> 3. have not been previously been incorporated into another project or facility; and <br /> 4. have not changed ownership since their initial production or fabrication and shipment from <br /> the manufacturer's factory or facility; and <br /> 5. if stored since their manufacture or fabrication,have,while in storage,been properly <br /> maintained and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations for long- <br /> term storage; submit documentation under the relevant technical section that such <br /> maintenance and service has been performed; and <br /> 6. have not been subject to degradation or deterioration since manufacture; and <br /> 7. are the current model(s)or type(s)furnished by the Supplier and only modified as necessary <br /> to comply with the design. <br /> 1 <br /> 10023829 City of Everett Public Works July 2018 <br /> WPCF FEN Chlorination Building Upgrade Work Order 3614 <br /> SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 011100-4 Issue for Bid I <br />
