Notify City of Everett Transit at 257-8984 and Community Transit at 348-7100 of I 67 any and all temporary traffic control changes which will require closure of or adversely impact the use of existing transit stops. Pedestrians and 18 bicycles travelling on the wide sidewalk on the west side of the roadway must have a I19 defined detour route if the sidewalk must be closed during construction. This route must 20 comply with all PROWAG requirements and must be clearly marked. It may cross 21 adjacent private property with their approval. I22 23 Bicycles may choose to use either the roadway(riding in-lane) or the wide sidewalk area 24 on the west side of the W Marine View Drive. Bicyclists riding in-lane are assumed to I25 abide by all vehicular traffic control signs since they are behaving as vehicles and are 26 not riding in a dedicated bicycle lane. As such no special traffic control provisions are 27 required for bicycles using the roadway 28 I29 Pedestrian access shall be maintained to each business/residential door during all 30 hours. For business/residents with a single entrance, the Contractor shall provide 31 a temporary access platform or walkway to the entrances during placement of I32 sidewalk, retaining walls or installation of utilities in front of doorway entrances. 33 34 .k** I35 36 If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the 37 Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. A holiday weekend; holidays that occur on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or I45 Monday are considered a holiday weekend. A holiday weekend includes 46 Saturday, Sunday, and the holiday. 47 I48 3.
