1 All excavation and backfill outside the trench neat lines shown in the drawings associated <br /> 2 with the installation or removal of the shoring system shall be considered incidental to <br /> 3 "Shoring or Extra Excavation Class B" , <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 There will be no separate payment for the costs associated with removal and disposal of <br /> 7 obstructions located fully within the defined limits of Excavation (Section 2-09.4). Removal <br /> 8 of obstructions that extend beyond the defined limits of Excavation (Section 2-09.4), if <br /> 9 approved by the Engineer, will be paid for as"Removal of Structures and Obstructions", force <br /> 10 account. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 2-11 TRIMMING AND CLEANUP <br /> 15 <br /> 16 2-11.1 Description <br /> 17 Section 2-11.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 18 <br /> 19 (February 17, 1998 City of Everett GSP) <br /> 20 During the process of construction, the Contractor shall keep the project site in a neat, orderly <br /> 21 condition with as little disruption to the adjoining properties as practical under the conditions. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 2-11.3 Construction Requirements <br /> 24 Section 2-11.3 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 25 <br /> 26 (*** **) <br /> 27 The Contractor shall keep City streets clean and free from mud, dirt or other debris. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 When the streets are dirtied due to construction activity, the Contractor shall clean the streets <br /> 30 at the conclusion of each work day and on other occasions as needed. The cleaning device <br /> 31 shall be approved by the Engineer. Flushing streets into storm drainage collection shall not <br /> 32 be permitted. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Should the Contractor <br /> OntraCiOr nGt clean the streets as required, ♦he City may elect to clean the streets <br /> 35 themselves or procure the services of a street cleaner. In this event, all costs for the street <br /> 36 cleaning will be charged to the Contractor. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Drainage facilities such as inlets, catch basins, culverts and open ditches shall be cleaned of <br /> 39 all debris which is the result of the Contractor's operations. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all construction stakes. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Upon completion of the project, the project shall be cleaned and slopes neatly dressed to <br /> 44 present a uniform appearance blending into the contour of adjacent properties.
