The street sweeper shall effectively collect these materials I 44 and prevent them from being washed or blown off the Roadway or into waters of the 45 State. Street sweepers shall not generate fugitive dust and shall be designed and 46 operated in compliance with applicable air quality standards. Material collected by the I 47 street sweeper shall be disposed of in accordance with Section 2-03.3(7)C. 48 49 When allowed by the Engineer, power broom sweepers may be used in non- ' 50 51 environmentally sensitive areas. The broom sweeper shall sweep dirt and other debris from the roadway into the work area. The swept material shall be prevented from 52 entering or washing into waters of the State.
