Additional requirements will apply to the work, including the 2003 Intemational Fire Cocle regardinq retroactive requirements for detection systems (IFC Section 907.3) and the 2003 Washington Stote Ventilation and Indoor Air Qualiry Code ( iection 302) regarding venting. The individual rooms require a one hour separatinn at ihe floor-ceiling assembty, based on thr. R-2 occupancy, per the 2003 Intemational Building Code Section 711.3. More specific review of the wurk being proposed can be given once we have received the building p:�rmit ap�lication and drawings for the new work, showing the existing conditions ancl any demolition involveci, per the City of Ever��tt Tenant Improvement Checklist that you and I discussed :3t the counter this past Friday. Based on the square footage of the building and the details required to comply with the codes, a Vlashington State licensed engineer or architect will be requ red to submit and stamp the drawings. I spoke to Jim Paustian regarding the engineering report, and gave him your :ontact information if you woulc like to make arrangements to get a copy. Mr. Paustian was aware of the requirement for a licensed engineer or architect to submit the drawings, per his conversations with Tony Lee, City of Everett Permit Services Manager. Tony issued the stop work order on the project on February 13, 2007. According to the City of Everett inspection report, the work required for permif is a result from car damage in February and water damage from the December damage to the roofing materials.
