This lettcr scrvcs to summarizc our discussion and thc discussion wc <br />had rvith Paheem Siddiy with Planning and Community Devclopment. <br />Planning issues: <br />Paheem said that there were no planning issucs associated with this project. Faheem asked for <br />a detailed narrative on how thc College intends on using the Ritc Aid fa:ility and a description <br />of any planned improvements (or the facility. • <br />It was noted that the College is planning to use the facility as a temporary practice (acilily for <br />duration of aUout (ourtcen months. Pahecro said Uiat long-tcrm devclopment or a development <br />�hat would higger a"chango-in-use" would require a formal review process. Of particular <br />concern to the 1'lanning Deportment is the lack of landscape treatments associated with the <br />existing parking arcas. Pahcem said that hc proposcd PortaUlc Addition Project and thc <br />temporary usc of the Rite Aid Pacility would not triggcr l�nd use revicw and/or improvements. <br />I�ahcem said that a Prc-Application Mceting would not Uc required. Thc only rcquired <br />P���������b docmnent submittal would Ue a narrative provided by lhc College detailing the <br />proposcd temporary usc of thc facility and noting any Uuilding improvements. <br />13uilding Issues: <br />Pire lane access: the site plan tvas reviewed and the fire department access is mainlained �vith <br />thc proposed submittal. <br />3uildin �ti Occupanc�: Tony asked i( the College �vould trigger AssemUly use of the facility (TYpe <br />A Occupancy). Jerry said he did not know the particulars of the intended use birt that the <br />proposed use �vould not trigger an Assemblv Occup�ncy (greater than 50 persons).
