2. Broadway is designated as a"Gateway" corridor in the City's General Plan. The General <br />Plan states, "Because Everett wants to develop and promote an attractive images, all <br />entry corridors into the City shou!d be designeted as "Gateways" and standards should be <br />applied to developments elong such "Gateways" relating to building design, landscaping, <br />signage, outdoor storage and olher oesthetic considerations what will serve to upgrade <br />EveretYs image." The City will work with the applicant to insure that the building design <br />and landscaping are in keeping with the gateway corridor atandards (SEPA Transportation <br />and Land Use Policies) <br />Tho lead agency for this proposal has determi�ed ihat it does not have a probable significant <br />adverse impact on the environment. An Enviror,mental Impact Statement is not required under <br />RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This determination assume.s compliance with State law a�d City <br />ordinances related to general environmental protectio:, including but not Iimited to right-of-way <br />improvement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision was mede after review of a completed <br />environmental checklist and other fnformation on file with the lead agency. This information is <br />availabte to the public on requesl.
