November 21, 2018 <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at the Lowell <br /> Neighborhood meeting. He also provided a liaison report on his attendance <br /> at the Public Facilities District Board meeting. Council Member Murphy also <br /> reminded citizens that this coming Saturday is Small Business Saturday and <br /> encouraged everyone to shop local. <br /> President Roberts thanked everyone who helped to obtain federal funding <br /> for the Sound Transit project. He provided an update on the legislative <br /> priorities agenda for Sound Transit. President Roberts also echoed Council <br /> Member Murphy's comments and encouraged citizens to shop local and <br /> support small businesses. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Chief of Staff, on behalf of Mayor Franklin, thanked Council <br /> Member McNeal for her service to our community and expressed sincere <br /> appreciation for her work on the Council. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comments. <br /> President Roberts stated that the Legal Department is working on the <br /> implementation of the districting process and will provide Council with a <br /> memo at a later date. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Josiah Settles, Everett, spoke about homelessness in Everett. <br /> President Roberts reminded the public that the City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for December 26 has been cancelled. <br /> 373 <br />
