FINDINGS AND DECISION <br />OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />Ih THE MATfER OF THE APPLICATION <br />OF NEXTEL FOR APPROVAL OF A <br />SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT <br />SPU #05-003 <br />DECISION: A requested Special Property Use Permit for <br />installation of three eight-foot panel antennas to be <br />flush mounted to an existing communication tower/flag <br />pole at 220 Oiympic Boulevard, Everett, Washington, is <br />granted subject to conditions. A 7 foot x 17 foot <br />equipment cabinet shall be part of the permitted <br />project. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Nextel (Applicant) requested approval of a Special Property Use Permit for instailation <br />of three panel antennas to be flush mounted to an existing communication tower/flag <br />pole. The antennas would be eight feet in height. As part of the request, equipment <br />located at the base of the pole within a 7 foot x 17 foot cabinet would be allowed. <br />A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on A,�ril 21, <br />2005.
