Delivery Vehicle Parking Permit— Exemption from prohibitions on <br /> reparking. <br /> 1. Persons conducting loading, unloading, or delivery of tangible <br /> goods on more than a one-time basis may make application with the city clerk for an <br /> annual delivery parking permit. The city clerk (or designee) is authorized to issue a <br /> delivery parking permit to persons conducting loading, unloading, or delivery of tangible <br /> goods to businesses or residences located within the Central Business District as defined <br /> in EMC 46.28.020. <br /> 2. A delivery parking permit exempts permitted vehicles from <br /> prohibitions against reparking while actively conducting loading, unloading, or delivery <br /> of tangible goods. It does not exempt the permitted vehicle from posted time limits. <br /> 3. The following procedure shall be followed in the issuance of <br /> delivery parking permits: <br /> a. Application shall be made to the city clerk (or designee) on <br /> a form or in a manner provided by the city clerk. The applicant shall set forth the <br /> applicant's vehicle license plate number, the applicant's (or his/her employer's) business <br /> license and issuing municipality, and the necessity for such permit and how the stated use <br /> complies with this subsection A.1. <br /> Page 4 of 20 <br />
