There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, a longevity <br /> 5 schedule for full-time employees covered by the AFSCME labor contract <br /> under a five-step classification based on years of service as follows: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 After completion of 5 years, $ 25.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month additional. <br /> 8 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month additional. <br /> 9 <br /> Section 6: <br /> 10 <br /> Longevity pay shall not be paid to part-time employees, Day Laborers, or <br /> 11 employees on the pay range prefaced by "P" , "E" , or "W' in Section 2 above. <br /> 12 <br /> Section 7: <br /> 13 <br /> A. There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, a longevity <br /> 14 schedule for full-time employees covered by the Everett Firefighters <br /> IAFF Local 35) labor contract based on years of service as follows: <br /> 15 <br /> After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month additional. <br /> 16 After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month additional. <br /> 17 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month additional. <br /> 18 After completion of 20 years, $125.00 per month additional. <br /> 19 Section 8: <br /> 20 There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance longevity and <br /> 21 educational incentive plans for commissioned police officers. Such officers, <br /> upon becoming eligible, may choose to participate in either plan, however, <br /> 22 in no case shall any officer by eligible to participate concurrently in both plans. <br /> 23 The following shall be the longevity schedule, based upon years of service, <br /> the amount of which shall be added to and considered a part of, base pay: <br /> 24 <br /> After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month. <br /> 25 After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month. <br /> 26 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month. { <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month. <br /> 27 <br /> The following shall be the educational incentive plan schedule, based upon <br /> 28 receipt of approved college credits. There shall be a joint Everett Police <br /> Officers Association and City Administration Committee established which shall <br /> 29 determine the appropriateness of areas of study for which the incentive pay <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
