1 ORDINANCE NO. 17/` - 76 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Code of <br /> the City of Everett as provided by Everett <br /> 4 Municipal Title 10, Ordinance No. 3572 <br /> (Planned Residential Development, and re- <br /> 5 pealing Paragraph 6 of Ordinance No. 3874 <br /> and Paragraph 18 (F) of Ordinance No. 3572 . <br /> 6 <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br /> 8 hearing regarding the addition of provisions concerning Planned <br /> 9 Residential Development (PRD District) , <br /> 10 <br /> 11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> 12 after hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission, <br /> 13 has determined that said addition should be adopted, <br /> 14 <br /> 15 NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 SECTION 1: PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT (PRD DISTRICT) Purpose <br /> 18 <br /> 19 A. To permit flexibility in design of residential <br /> 20 environments through placement and spacing of <br /> 21 buildings, use of open spaces, pedestrian circulation <br /> 22 facilities, off-street parking areas, and street <br /> 23 alignment, in order to achieve the best utilization <br /> 24 of a site characterized by special features of <br /> 25 geography, vegetation, topography, size, or shape. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 B. To promote orderly growth in undeveloped areas <br /> 28 of the City by maximizing the efficiency of utilities <br /> 29 and roads and other capital <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
