CITY <br /> LICENSE TO USE CITY PROPERTY <br /> Grantor: City of Everett (hereinafter referred to "City") <br /> Grantee: EVERETT ROWING ASSOCIATION, a non-profit corporation <br /> of Washington State <br /> Property: Those certain premises commonly known as Everett Rowing <br /> Association Shellhouse, (hereinafter called "Premises" or the "property"), being <br /> situated at the following location in Everett, Washington legally described as: <br /> A portion of the North East and the Northwest quarters SECTION 16 <br /> TOWNSHIP 29 RANGE 05 E.W.M. GOVERNMENT LOTS 8&11 LESS <br /> HIGHWAY AND LESS COUNTY ROAD & LESS PORTION LYING <br /> EASTERLY OF STATE ROUTE NO 1. <br /> Situated in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. <br /> 1. AUTHORIZED USE. EVERETT ROWING ASSOCIATION shall use the <br /> Premises for promoting the sport of rowing activities open to the public. <br /> 2. TERM. This License shall be effective upon execution by the Mayor of the <br /> City and shall expire in one year (12 months) from the effective date, unless <br /> terminated earlier upon 90-days notice per Section 8 below. <br /> 3. FEE. EVERETT ROWING ASSOCIATION shall pay a $636 (Six hundred <br /> thirty-six dollars) monthly fee. The payment is required to be paid on or before the <br /> 10th day of each month during the term of this License. EVERETT ROWING <br /> ASSOCIATION shall also pay 100% of the utility cost of the Shellhouse. <br /> EVERETT ROWING ASSOCIATION will be billed regularly based on the billing <br /> cycle of the Snohomish County Public Utility District. Payment will be due to the <br /> City within 30 days of invoice receipt. EVERETT ROWING ASSOCIATION is <br /> responsible for any leasehold excise tax due, including any penalties and interest if <br /> such leasehold excise tax is determined to be owed. <br /> 11 Page <br />
