('ire Alarm Svstem -An approved aulomatic fire detection system shall be provi;ied as required <br /> by Cily Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> Plans for such system shail be submitted to the Fire Code ONcial(or review and approval prior <br /> to installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets oF all equipment intended for use. Appropriate <br /> trip tesis, witnessed by a Fire Department Inspector,shail be pertormed, along with a certificate <br /> of completion, prior to final acceptance oi the system. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Chapter 72. Installation of fire alarm <br /> components, inciuding basic wiring, may not commence before plans are approved by <br /> the Fire Department 1'lan Revlewer. Fire alarm drawings must be professionally rendered, in <br /> sufficienf detail, and must be internally consistent. Riser diagrams musl match inatallalion plans <br /> and load calculations. Componenls must be listed and approved for use together. Changes to <br /> plans must include new drawings and calculatf�ns and must be epproved by ihe Fire <br /> Department Plan Reviewer prior to installation. Fire alarm installation is subject to fi�id <br /> inspection by a Fire Department Inspector. An approved set of plans and the Engfr,eering& <br /> Public 5ervices Department electrical permit must be present for any installation inspection. <br /> �ire alarm systems shall be instalied under permit of the City of Everett Engineering &Public <br /> Services Deparimenl. Electricel inspections and approval are required prior to calling for <br /> acceplance tesls. Call (425) 257-8610 for permit information. <br /> The absonce of working phone lines for the alarm system wlll be cause for postponing <br /> Fire Departn:ent Inspection and testin8 and shail result in denial of occupancy. <br /> A copy of NF°A 72 Rocord of Completion form must tie fil:ed out prior to final occupancy (NFPA <br /> 72, 2007 Edition, pa�e 72-33). <br /> Call for design r2quifements per Authority Naving Jurisdiction. <br /> AutomaNc smoke detection is required. <br /> Nole: Alarm system wouid require occupant to extend the alarm system into the exislirtg <br /> warehouse and place ar alarm control panel in lhe office area. <br /> 9.
