Additional revisions or additions may be required <br /> by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2003 <br /> Intemational Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or the Washington <br /> State Energy Code, 2003 edition, unless noted otherwise. Accessil.ility references are !o the <br /> 2003 IBC unless preceded by the acronym ANSI which refers to the 1498 edition of[CC/ANSI <br /> .4117.1. <br /> 1) Schedules, details and listings (where required) should be providc�d for the new �valls and <br /> partitions. Plan notes should key inro the schedules. <br /> 2) The building elements (columns and roof/ceiling) of the Porte cochere should be protected by <br /> minimum one-hour fire-resistive construction. Section 602.1 <br /> 3) The wood used in the parapet sections should be shown as fire-retardant-treated. Section <br /> 603.I <br /> 4) The listing for the new one-hour rated suspended ceilings �hould be provided on the plans to <br /> include lateral bracing design.
