If the concrete wall piers are being relied upon for lateral force resistance, please provide <br /> calculations addressing that the gluiam beams are able to resist loading for both gravity <br /> support and as drag struts delivering load to the connections shown on detail 6/S1.0 and <br /> 7/S1.0 at the top of the wall. <br /> 4. It appears that the HGLBA beam seats are transferring lateral to the concrete wall piers. <br /> Please provide calculations addressing this connection to the concrete via ACT 318-14 <br /> Chapter 17 as well as the connectivity of the wood to the connector per NDS 2015. Please <br /> account for lateral load effects such as the inclusion of overstrength (0). Please adjust <br /> detailing as required. <br /> 5. On detail 8/S1.0, it appears that the concrete pier is being loaded with lateral force in both <br /> orthogonal directions.
