Submit complete materials list prior to performing any work. Submit four (4) copies of <br /> manufacturer catalog data and full descriptive literature,including current manufacturer's price list. <br /> B. Equipment or materials installed or furnished without prior approval of the Owner's Representative <br /> will be rejected and such materials will be required to be removed and replaced with approved <br /> materials at the complete expense of the Contractor. <br /> C. Submit shop drawings for review and approval prior to beginning work. <br /> PART 2-PRODUCTS <br /> 2. 1 Pipes and Tubing: <br /> A. General: The application of the following pipe, tube, and fitting materials and joining methods <br /> required for plumbing piping systems are indicated in Part 3 Article "Pipe and Fittings <br /> Applications." <br /> B. High Density Polyethylene IPS Pipe: Material used for the manufacturing of polyethylene pipe <br /> shall be PE 3408 High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) meeting ASTM D 3350 cell classification <br /> 345464C. Polyethylene pipe shall be manufactured in accordance with AWWA C901. <br /> 2.2 Pipe and Tubing Fittings: <br /> A. Compression Fittings: Polypropylene Body, UV Stabilized, True Stab Assembly,No inserts. 200 <br /> psi working pressure. <br /> 2.3 Gate Valves: <br /> PLUMBING FOR POTABLE WATER SYSTEMS 22 4000-1 <br />
