CASCADE HIGH SCHOOL SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD <br /> EVERETT PUBLIC SCHOOL 09/12/.2013 <br /> d. Grab Tear Strength-ASTM D16182 <br /> e. Dynamic Cushion Test—ATM DF-355,Procedure A(system). <br /> 6. Treated lumber (wood), National Evaluation Service (NER-508) listed. Submit a 2x4 x 24" <br /> piece.0 <br /> 7. Fasteners for securing treated wood to concrete curb. <br /> B. Prior to ordering the materials,Contractor will submit the following: <br /> 1. Sample Warranty <br /> 2. Seam layout of the field and striping plans <br /> 3. Construction plan,especially any details that may deviate from the plans and specifications <br /> C. Prior to Final Acceptance, Contractor will submit to Owner three (3) copies of Maintenance Manuals <br /> that includes all necessary instructions for the proper care and preventative maintenance of the <br /> synthetic turf system,including painting and striping. <br /> D. Prior to the beginning of installation, the Manufacturer and Installation Contractor of the synthetic turf <br /> system will inspect the curbs and sub-bases and supply a Certificate of Sub-base and Curb Acceptance <br /> for the purpose of obtaining warranty/warranties for the finished synthetic playing surface. <br /> 1.6 SHOP DRAWINGS <br /> A. Shop drawings will be prepared at the scale of the construction documents and contain all pertinent <br /> information regarding installation. These drawings will be submitted to Owner and Landscape <br /> Architect for approval prior to the manufacture and shipment of the materials. <br /> B. Submit drawings for the following: <br /> 1. Seaming plan <br /> 2. Installation details: edge details where the turf meets all indifferent materials and other built-in <br /> field construction members such as posts, etc. <br /> 3. Composite striping plan and details for all designated uses of the field showing all field lines, <br /> markings and boundaries per project plans and specifications. Delineate colors, which markings <br /> are inlaid fabric as opposed to tufted-in fabric for line striping. <br /> 1.7 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Manufacturer Experience: <br /> 1. The synthetic turf Manufacturer shall have the experience of at least five (5) acceptable <br /> installations in the last three(3)calendar years in the continental United States. <br /> 2. The Manufacturer will submit a reference list of successful, completed projects of like size and <br /> like product specifications, completed within a similar time frame. Include the name and phone <br /> number of the Owner's Landscape Architect or Engineer in charge of Construction Observation <br /> as well as the Owner's key project personnel. <br /> B. Synthetic Turf Installation Contractor <br /> 1. The synthetic turf Contractor shall have installed at least ten (10) successful projects of this size <br /> and type of artificial turf in the last three(3)calendar years within the continental United States. <br /> 2. The synthetic turf Contractor will have a locally based installation crew. Submit a resume of <br /> past projects for this period of time. Include the name and phone numbers of the Owner's <br /> Landscape Architect or Engineer in charge of Construction Observation as well the Owner's key <br /> project personnel. <br /> INFILLED SYNTHETIC TURF 32 1822-2 <br />
