The Synthetic Turf Contractor shall employ only qualified experienced supervisors and <br /> technicians skilled in the installation of this type of artificial turf. Submit resumes of the key <br /> installation personnel involved in at least five (5) installation of like type and size for Owner <br /> review with the bid. <br /> 4. The Synthetic Turf Contractor shall have permanent local representation and a minimum bonding <br /> capacity of $1,000,000.00 per project and have the ability to fully service and warrant the <br /> systems installed over the full eight year period of the warranty. Provide a copy of the <br /> company's latest, audited financial statement with the bid. <br /> 1.8 WARRANTY <br /> Manufacturer's Warranty-The Turf Contractor shall furnish a Turf Manufacturer's Warranty that <br /> includes the following: <br /> 1. Single-source Warranty covering new materials and workmanship for all turf surfacing system <br /> components on a non-prorated basis for a minimum period of 8 years following Final Completion <br /> or first use,whichever occurs first. <br /> 2. The warranty submitted shall not be limited to the amount of usage of the installed products and <br /> shall cover all parts of the product including fabric, backing, infill, numerals, logos, labor costs, <br /> etc. <br /> 3. The warranty shall provide full-field coverage for sports-related activities such as marching band, <br /> drill teams, cheerleaders and team bench areas; light maintenance vehicles and emergency <br /> equipment, such as an ambulance;non-sports events, such as graduation and games and practices <br /> for athletics to include: <br /> a. Football e. Field Hockey i. Softball <br /> b. Soccer f. Frisbee j. Intramurals <br /> c. Lacrosse g. Ultimate k. PE classes <br /> d. Rugby h. Baseball <br /> NOTE: Assumes protective measures and procedures in the Owner's Manual are followed. Some <br /> 111 events with heavy point-loads for staging, equipment towers, etc. may require adequate load <br /> spreaders to prevent permanent deformation of underlying elastic-layer and porous asphalt base <br /> as well as permanent damage to the synthetic turf fabric or seams. <br /> 4. Excludes coverage for damage caused by vandalism,willful act and force majeure items, such as <br /> flood, tornado, war, insurrection and other natural disasters beyond the control of Owner or Turf <br /> Manufacturer. <br /> 5. Warrants that the materials installed meets or exceeds the product materials specifications and <br /> guarantees the availability of replacement materials for the full warranty period. <br /> 6. Warrant the serviceability and playability of the turf system during the warranty period against <br /> excessive wear, environmental and UV degradation and seam failure without limits on annual <br /> usage or exclusions for epidemic or catastrophic failure. <br /> 7. Include a provision to repair or replace such portions of the installed materials that are no longer <br /> serviceable to maintain a serviceable and playable surface at the option of the Turf Manufacturer, <br /> and shall include all necessary materials, labor, transportation costs, tools, etc. to complete all <br /> said repair or replacement at no cost to the Owner. <br /> 8. Owner's account with Turf Contractor shall be in good standing at the time of warranty service. <br /> 1NFILLED SYNTHETIC TURF 32 1822-3 <br />
