CHANGE ORDER/CONSTRUCTION CHANGE <br /> DIRECTIVE PROCEDURES <br /> 010280 - 2 <br /> 1.5. Construction Change Directives: <br /> 1. Architect may issue a directive, signed by the Owner, instructing the <br /> Contractor to proceed with a change in the Work, for subsequent inclusion in <br /> a Change Order. <br /> 2. Directive will describe changes in the Work, and will designate method of <br /> determining any change in Contract Sum or Contract Time. <br /> 3. Contractor shall promptly execute the change in Work. <br /> 1.6. Fixed Price Change Order: <br /> 1. Shall be based upon Proposal Request and Contractor's fixed price quotation, <br /> or Contractor's request for Change Order as approved by Architect. <br /> 1.7. Unit Price Change Order: <br /> 1. For predetermined unit prices and quantities, Change Order shall be executed <br /> on a fixed price basis. <br /> 2. For costs or quantities of unit work which are not predetermined, execute <br /> Work under a Construction Change Directive. Changes in Contract Sum or <br /> Contract Time will be computed as specified for time and material Change <br /> Order. <br /> 1.8. Execution of Change Orders: <br /> 1. Architect will issue Change Orders for signatures of parties as provided in the <br /> Conditions of the Contract. <br /> 1.9. Correlation of Contract Resubmittals: <br /> 1. Promptly revise Schedule of Values and Application of Payment forms to <br /> record each authorized Change Order as a separate line item and adjust the <br /> Contract Sum and Contract Time as shown on the Change Order. <br /> 2. Promptly revise the Progress Schedule to reflect any change in Contract <br /> Time, revise subschedules to adjust times for other items of Work affected by <br /> the change, and resubmit to the Architect for approval. <br /> 3.
